||This is my eighth year at Montecito Union School and I couldn't be more excited. I have had the pleasure of teaching second, third and fourth grade. I previously taught second grade for two years, third grade for three years and fourth grade for five years. I also had the opportunity to substitute for multiple principals from 2006-2010.
In 2001 I received my bachelors in Sociology at the University of California Santa Barbara. I then went on to get my teaching credential, which I completed in 2002 at Cal State University of Bakersfield. After a few years of teaching I decided I wanted to continue to grow both professionally and personally. In 2006 I graduated from Cal State Bakersfield, the program allowed me to get my masters in education while also obtaining my administrative credential.
Fourth grade is rich in academic content and allows the students to take on increased ownership in reaching their goals. I truly love teaching fourth grade and can't wait to meet all of you.
