• This will be my first year at M.U.S. working as one of the SDC/Resource teachers at the school. Previously I worked at the school for approximately 9 years as an instructional aide while I earned my teaching credential. I spent the past two years working as an SDC/Co-Teacher at Los Berros VAPA School in the Lompoc School District. It has been my dream to work at M.U.S. as a teacher ever since I began working as an instructional assistant back in 2007.

I am originally from Pennsylvania with stops in Vermont, Indiana, and Minnesota along the way before settling in Santa Barbara in 2007. When I am not at work, I enjoy finding sea glass at the local beaches, playing disc golf, and I love to go to the Santa Barbara bowl for a good show!

I graduated from Antioch University Santa Barbara with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. I also received my teaching credential through Antioch University. I have recently earned my Masters degree from Antioch University with a focus on Full-Inclusion and Co-Teaching.

I am dedicated to helping all students thrive in the school environment. I have high expectations for all students and will work tirelessly to support the students so that they can achieve their lifelong goals.
