Montecito Union School PTA

A Legacy PTA Est. 1924

The Montecito Union School Parent Teacher Association (MUS PTA) welcomes you to the 2015/2016 school year!  The MUS PTA invites you to join us in making a difference in the education of your children.  The PTA is a national lobbying organization and is a key advocate in promoting and lobbying for such things as healthy food in our schools and small class sizes in our classrooms.  Your membership allows you to vote on key issues at the PTA meetings including how we utilize our resources and funds.  Becoming involved in the PTA is not only personally rewarding but it has been proven that children do better academically when parents are involved.  Please join us on the second Thursday of every month on campus just after drop off for our monthly meetings!  We look forward to seeing you.

Here are just a few ways that the MUS PTA enriches the lives of our children, families, school and community:

Artist-in-Residence Programs                     Classroom Grants                             School Directory
Emergency Preparedness                          Art-at-Lunch                                       Sixth Grade Play
Montecito Union Monitor (MUM)                 Teacher Stipends                              Books Fairs
Organic Garden Club                                  Field Trips                                         Earth Day Events
Walk N Roll                                                 Food Bank                                        All of our Green Efforts

This year the MUS PTA has budgeted over $200,000 to support these programs and more.  When you become a member, you will support the lobbying efforts of the national and state PTA, while enabling involvement in programs and issues concerning our school and children.

We encourage you to join the PTA.  The cost is $12.00 per individual membership.  All parents may join.  You can pay online by credit card on the Payment and Submit page, the last page of the registration process.
